Teaching the Art – Hanshi Ellis Awarding Hard Training Certificates to Motivate His Students
It is said that ‘Ju’ as in JuJitsu or Judo, refers to the heart that may be instructed, only by another’s heart. For this reason Jujitsu techniques are not written out and given as ‘hand outs’. Furthermore, if JuJitsu is to be a living tradition, handed down over the centuries, it must come from the qualified teacher who is passionate and caring and has the understanding for his students.
